A joint meeting of the UNP WG4 “Contacts between people” and the CSP WG6 “Science and technology, information society, education, training and youth, culture and sports” was held on April 17 in an online format.

The focus of the meeting was on the issues of preparation for the next important events in the activities of these two platforms, namely the national conference of the UNP, which is planned for June 9-10, 2026, and the joint meeting of the Ukraine-EU CSP, which is planned for June 5, 2026.

During the meeting, the idea of conducting an initiative to analyze barriers to the participation of Ukrainian researchers in the European Research Area was discussed.

Two new members of the UNP WG4 were introduced at the meeting: representatives of the NGO “YUMIND” and the Blagomay Foundation.

The meeting then focused on a number of key topics related to education and human resource development in Ukraine. The participants drew attention to the importance of adhering to accepted standards in the preparation and publication of training manuals, the need for more active participation of NGOs in the reform processes in the field of vocational education and adult education, and more active communication and interaction of group members among themselves and with leading organizations in the fields of activity of the UNP WG4 and the UC CSP WG6.

As a result, the group coordinator, Ivan Kulchytsky, invited the members of the two groups to be more active in developing cooperation and to inform the members of other groups through the relevant Google mailing lists at least once a quarter.
