UNP welcomes a new member of Working group 3 “Довкілля, зміни клімату, енергетична безпека, транспорт” NGO Sustainable Development Agency SYNERGY.
The organization was founded in 2021 by an initiative group of scientific and pedagogical workers and researchers from various universities and various fields who share the values and principles of sustainable development.
ASR SYNERGY works in the field of popularization and implementation of the principles of sustainable development of the country by initiating, developing and implementing projects within the framework of European, national and international programs and funds.
ASR SYNERGY provides local enterprises, municipalities and communities with educational services, analytical and consulting support on energy efficiency, environmental protection, the formation of grant applications for competitions of various levels in the field of sustainable development, organizing trainings, seminars, conferences.
Mission
- Development and promotion of the implementation of the principles and mechanisms of the country’s sustainable development policy management
- Support and participation in the formation and implementation of municipal and state sustainable development policy
- Strengthening civil society in Ukraine
- Education, transfer of knowledge and innovations
Directions of work
Capacity building Municipalities in conducting transparent public hearings, making favorable decisions regarding the improvement of environmental, social and economic monitoring in the country.
Support. Supporting the introduction of scientific developments, new methods and mechanisms of production, commercial and management experience, fundraising strategies, etc. into the activities of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Advocacy. Development and dissemination of information and reference materials on the implementation of sustainable development principles, promotion of public participation in strategic planning of sustainable development at the local level.
Enlightenment. Conducting informational, advisory and educational activities aimed at realizing the goals of sustainable development.
