On December 04, 2025, the meeting of Working Group 1 “Democracy, Human Rights, Good Governance and Stability” of the UNP EaP CSF was held.
During the meeting, the participants heard information about the results of the work of the UNP and Working Group 1 in 2025, discussed further steps in implementing the Gender Equality Policy of the UNP FGS EaP.
In particular, the next steps in working on the necessary amendments to the Policy were agreed upon. They also discussed possible activities to increase the involvement of other representatives of the WG in the work of the group in 2026. The possibilities of conducting a survey on motivation, and the prospects for conducting online and offline events of the working group were discussed.
Following the results of the WG meeting, the group coordinator Marta Chumalo addressed the leader of the EU4Gender Equality Reform Helpdesk project, Ms. Oksana Kisselova, and received in-principle approval to support the project for a 2-day open offline meeting of representatives of CSO members of WG-1 and other UNP working groups to discuss the further strategy for implementing and promoting the UNP Gender Policy at the level of the entire Forum. Also, due to the fact that the International Campaign “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” is currently underway, the results of the implementation of the supported initiatives by WG-1 were discussed and it was decided to contact all UNP members with information about the results of the implemented initiatives and the prospect of a wider familiarization with the results obtained at a webinar in January 2026.
