On April 28, 2025, the meeting of Working Group 2 “Economic integration and coherence with EU policy” of the UNP EaP CSF was held.

During the regular meeting of Working Group 2, the participants discussed the results of the past year, challenges related to financing problems. They also discussed the opportunities and benefits of participating in the Ukrainian National Platform.

The participants paid attention to the search for potential joint activities and intersectoral projects in the field of European integration. Separately, the issues of information support for small farmers in the process of integration into the European market and the need to involve self-organized citizens in rural development initiatives were discussed. The importance of innovative approaches to increasing the sustainability of the local economy was emphasized.

An important issue of discussion was the idea of creating an information bulletin on European opportunities for community development. It was proposed to use simple, accessible language to convey information about EU concepts and tools to residents of rural areas. Further steps include collecting ideas for events and joint projects, analyzing opportunities and monitoring announcements of grants and expert opportunities within the framework of new EU support programs. The working group plans to continue active cooperation, focusing on finding new partnerships, exchanging experience and supporting local initiatives that will contribute to sustainable community development in the context of European integration.
