The NGO “Energetic Country,” members of UNP WG2, in cooperation with the Women’s Energy Club of Ukraine and OKEY, TAUN, launched the research initiative “Empowering Equality: Gender Advocacy role in Driving the Green Deal and Sustainable developmen” within the framework of the project “Support to the activities of the Ukrainian National Platform of the EaP CSF in 2024” implemented by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting with the financial support of the European Union.

The aim of the initiative is to study the impact of gender advocacy on the effectiveness and success of the Green Deal and sustainable development in Ukraine, taking into account the support of Ukraine’s membership in the EU through the use of opportunities and tools of the Eastern Partnership.
Results of the initiative.
The initiative will analyze the gender dimension of various aspects of green development and develop recommendations to ensure inclusiveness and equality in the implementation of energy and environmental initiatives.
The recommendations will be disseminated among representatives of the Ukrainian Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum working groups, Ukrainian and international organizations and businesses, and interested stakeholders.
