On August 1, 2024, the UNP EaP CSF Steering Committee held an online meeting, which was devoted to discussing the planning of the UNP Annual Conference and a public event within the framework of the project.
The following draft Agenda was proposed for consideration:
- UNP Annual Conference,
- a public event within the framework of the Conference
- Elections of the Steering Committee in 2024. Announcement of elections. Discussion of the plans of the current coordinators.
- Preparation of a draft position document within the framework of the Conference
- Offline public event in Kyiv.
- Meeting of the UNP WG in 2024
UNP Secretary M. Gutgarts provided information to the members of the UNP SC about the possibility of holding the UNP Annual Conference and an offline public event within the framework of the project “Supporting the activities of the UNP in 2024”.
On December 4, 2024, the term of office of the UNP Steering committee expires. According to the UNP Statute, the new SC must be elected at the Conference.
Members of the UNP SC decided to schedule the UNP Annual Conference on October 30-31, online.

– presentations by coordinators of UNP working groups of plans for 2025
– announcement of voting results, presentation of the new Steering Committee of the UNP
Taking into account the UNP Strategic work plan and the challenges facing Ukraine today, the UNP SC during his meeting decided on the subject of the position document, which will be developed before the UNP Annual Conference and presented and discussed with the members of the Platform during one from the sessions of the Conference in October 2024. The Position document will concern the consideration of issues of post-war reconstruction in the future of the Eastern Partnership (the working title of the document is “Ukraine Reconstruction: Opportunities and Challenges for the Eastern Partnership“).
It was decided to hold meetings of Working groups within the framework of the Conference. Coordinators and group members decide the schedule.
Members of the UNP SC decided to hold a public offline event in Kyiv on December 10. As part of the event, the results of the WG’s initiatives, which were supported by the Platform in 2024, will be presented, and the plans and strategy of the UNP’s activities for the future will be discussed.
It was decided to take into account the opinion of UNP members and the vision of the future of the Eastern Partnership and the needs of Ukraine in the field of their expertise and conduct a survey.
The participants of the meeting decided to hold the next meeting at the beginning of September and discuss the development of the Position Document.
The event is implemented within the framework of the project “”Supporting the activities of the Ukrainian National Platform of the EaP CSF in 2024”, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting.
