The NGO “Women’s Professional League” (UNP WG4) has launched the initiative “Analytical Review of Women’s Condition in Education & Learning Areas and Economy in Ukraine in EU Perspective and Beijing + 30” within the framework of the project “Support to the Activities of the Ukrainian National Platform of the EaP CSF in 2024” implemented by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting with the financial support of the European Union.
Title of the initiative: Analytical Review of the Status of Women in the Economy, Education and Training in Ukraine in the Context of EU Membership and Beijing+30

Objective. To prepare an analytical document and conduct advocacy activities to enhance understanding of the status of women in the country in wartime and provide recommendations in the field of economy, education and science in Ukraine, to facilitate European integration negotiations and to present public experts’ brief overview of Ukraine’s implementation of the outcome documents of the Fourth UN World Conference on Women (Beijing, 1995) – Beijing Declaration and Platform (Beijing+30) in these areas in 2020-2024.
Result of the initiative.
- Preparation of an analytical document that will highlight the current status of women in the economy, education and training in Ukraine.
- Conducting advocacy activities to improve understanding and support for women in these areas.
- Providing recommendations that will facilitate Ukraine’s European integration and presenting a position paper by civil society experts on Ukraine’s implementation of the Beijing Declaration and Platform (Beijing+30) in 2020-2024.
- The Initiative will include an asynchronous online consultation and a discussion meeting in July 2024. You can join these events by filling out the registration form (until July 27).
