The Ukrainian National Nlatform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum held the online webinar “Psychological Support and Assistance in the Teams of Public Organizations and Projects” from the NGO “Women’s Consortium of Ukraine”.
Purpose: to conduct a workshop on providing initial psychological support to teams of public organizations, projects, and volunteers working in conditions of intensive assistance to citizens during a full-scale invasion of Ukraine by an aggressor.
While helping others, a public asset does not always find opportunities for its own recovery, support, and inspiration. In response to this, the team of the NGO “Women’s Consortium of Ukraine”, having gained tremendous experience in providing professional psychological support to vulnerable groups of women and men within the framework of the implementation of their own projects, will be happy to share their experiences in the interests of fellow public activists.
Tatiana Pashko, psychotherapist, conducted practical exercises to stabilize her own psycho-emotional state from the group stabilization protocol.
Summarizing the event, participants agreed that the need for public activists to stabilize their own psychological state is extremely necessary in view of the burden that the public has taken upon itself, starting from the first day of the full-scale invasion, as well as in order to continue its socially beneficial activity.
At the end of the webinar, the team of the NGO “Women’s Consortium of Ukraine” shared the contacts of its hotline for psychological help.
