NGO “Energetic Country” and UNP WG2 members, in cooperation with the Women’s Energy Club of Ukraine, launched the study initiative “Gender and Climate Aspects in Entrepreneurship Support Projects in Ukraine during the war” within the project “Supporting the activities of the UNP EaP CSF 2021-2023”, which is implemented by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting with the financial support of the European Union.

The aim of the Initiative is to examine the gender and climate profile of entrepreneurship support projects in Ukraine during the war, their effectiveness in terms of women’s economic empowerment and addressing climate and energy challenges in Ukraine.

The project aims at examining the state of gender and climate aspects considerations in entrepreneurship support projects in Ukraine since the beginning of full-scale war, and at developing recommendations for improving projects, programs and grants that contribute the best to increasing the potential of women’s entrepreneurship in addressing climate and energy challenges.

The recommendations will be disseminated among representatives of the working groups of the Ukrainian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, Ukrainian and international organisations and businesses, and interested stakeholders.
