On 23-24 May, the 5th Informal Working Group Meeting on Research and Innovation took place in Chisinau, Moldova. The event was organised by the European Commission in support of the Eastern Partnership Initiative.
Ivan Kulchytskyi, UNP WG4 Coordinator, participated in the event.
A separate panel at the event was dedicated to the work of the National Contact Points for Horizon Europe Framework Program in the partner countries and Turkey. Colleagues shared their very interesting experiences of the office functioning, as well as achievements and challenges in various areas of office work (communication, powers, staff recruitment, partner search, etc.). In other words, the event became a platform for presentation, discussion, exchange of experience and building cooperation with colleagues.
On 23 May, the official inauguration of the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe in the Republic of Moldova and the presentation of the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe in Ukraine took place. After the official opening of the Ukrainian office, we look forward to fruitful cooperation with and support from the Contact Points in the partner countries.
The sessions and panels of the meeting on 24 May were dedicated to the values and principles of international cooperation within the European Research Area (ERA), as well as the new European Innovation Sector Agenda and funding opportunities provided by the European Innovation Council (EIC).
