
On December 5-7, 2022, the Assembly of the Civil Society Forum of the Eastern Partnership was held in Prague.
This year it was honoured the brave Ukrainian civil society for their courage and heroism defending freedom, democracy and the European future of Ukraine and presented them with our Civil Society Award 2022 in a beautiful and touching ceremony in a spectacular Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament.


On December 5, in the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Ruslan Havryliuk, Maryna Gutgarts and Yaroslav Minkin, representing the Ukrainian platform of the Civil Society Forum of the Eastern Partnership, received this award, which symbolizes the struggle of Ukrainian civil society and international support for Ukraine in this struggle.

At the ceremony, Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Markéta Pekarová Adamová, Jaroslav Kurfürst, and Małgorzata Łatkiewicz-Pawlak made appropriate speeches in support of Ukraine, who assured that the Czech Republic and Poland will help Ukraine as long as it is needed.
Commenting on the awarding of the prize, Pekarova-Adamova noted that during the repulsion of Russian aggression, civil society and the political leadership of Ukraine were able to mobilize public support.
She emphasized that “the European family should always be open to those who are ready to respect such basic values as freedom and democracy“.
