Our colleagues of Development center Pangeya Ultima (members of WG4 UNP) as part of the initiative “Green Course: Threats and Opportunities”, which was supported by UNP EaP CSF, together with partners Eco-Center Stina / Eco-center Stina on August 27 conducted a study visit to the village Stina (Vinnytsia region).
This study visit is a unique opportunity to get to know the company of active and progressive young people, and the most interesting thing is a visit to the authentic village Stina, which will enchant the most demanding traveler. The program included hikes, thematic discussions, exchange of ideas and contacts for further communication.
Another goal of this study visit is to form a Working Group of activists who will take the initiative in the project “Green Course: Threats and Opportunities”.
We were glad to host 18 active young people in the charming village of Stina and conduct a rich program with a tour, a presentation of the history of the Eco-Center, a discussion of environmental initiatives, and even an interactive brainstorming session on environmental projects. We were glad to hear many creative ideas and agreed that the participants will remain active within the Main Working Group of the project “Green transition – threats and opportunities”. The next measures within it will be the holding of public events and meetings to prepare for future projects as part of the green transition process. And young people really should have a place in this process!
