Women’s Consortium of Ukraine started implementation of the initiative “Gender Aspects of Community Social Resilience” within the project “Supporting the activities of the Ukrainian National Platform of the EaP CSF in 2021-2023” that is carried out by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER) with the financial support of the European Union.

Aim of the initiative. To strengthen the social stability of territorial communities by developing recommendations for state authorities and local self-governments in the direction of overcoming barriers for vulnerable groups of women and men in the field of employment, access to services, political and public participation in the conditions of martial law.
In order to achieve the goal, it is planned to assess the needs of the population of territorial communities in Sumy, Lviv, Kyiv and Mykolaiv territorial communities, conduct participatory strategic sessions and present the results of the study with recommendations at the national and local levels.
Cooperation with the leadership of Sumy, Lviv, Kyiv, and Mykolaiv territorial communities in the direction of participation in participatory strategic sessions is expected. A total of 4 measures in each TG.
The involvement of vulnerable population groups is also expected; authorities; business, experts; mass media.
The initiative is implemented within the framework of the project “Support to the activities of the UNP EaP CSF in 2021-2023”, funded by the European Union, the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum and implemented by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting.
