The Ukrainian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum within the framework of the UNP Capacity Building Program conducted training “How to Create an Effective M&E System in an Organization and Monitor Public Policy”, which will be held online on December 6-8, 2021,
The training course was conducted by the Public organization “Ukrainian Evaluation Association” (Working group No. 2 of UNP).
Target audience: representatives of organizations, institutions and business companies involved in the implementation of charitable projects and programs, as well as teachers involved in teaching such academic disciplines, and scientists interested in the theory and practice of evaluating projects and programs.
Evaluation is part of the modern “knowledge management system” of any organization: it helps the organization to work transparently and openly, allows you to accumulate experience and knowledge about the organization’s work, and use it to improve its work. The evaluation results can be used to clarify the strategy, design, and implementation of the project/ program.
The ability to evaluate projects and programs helps to determine the consequences, effectiveness and effectiveness of charitable activities, cooperation with donor organizations (attracting funding for their implementation), informing stakeholders about existing successes, and so on.
The purpose of the training course is to get acquainted with the methodology for assessing how and how the tasks of projects/ programs are completed, as well as the contribution of the project/ program to the implementation of the organization’s mission and/ or achieving the goals of the top – level strategy.
The training course program consists of three three-hour trainings that reveal the basic principles of evaluating charitable projects and programs of both non-profit organizations and business companies.
