On November 26, 2021, the Steering Committee of UNP EaP CSF held an online meeting to discuss the results of the UNP Annual Conference (November 9-10, 2021), the implementation of UNP Working groups initiatives, and plans to participate in the annual Assembly of EaP CSF (November 30 – December 2, 2021).
The following draft agenda was proposed for consideration:
1. results of the annual UNP conference on November 9-10, 2021
2. EaP CSF Assembly (November 30 – December 2, 2021)
3. Miscellaneous (organizational issues):
consideration of an application for membership of public organization Institute of innovative management in the UNP
Issues of electing delegates of EaP CSF
holding a public event of the UNP based on the results of the EaP Summit (December 2021)
preparation of UNP proposals for the EaP summit
Secretary of the UNP M.Hutharts provided information on the implementation of the program of the annual conference, about the participants.
The meeting participants discussed the participation of the UNP in the assembly of EaP CSF, communications with delegates.
I. Kulchytskyi informed the members of the Steering Committee about the preparation of the Ukrainian panel within the framework of the forum assembly – “Integration of Ukraine into the EU common digital space”, which is scheduled for December 1.
I. Kuropas provided information that within the framework of the Assembly, in the side events section, there will be an event that will be jointly organized by members of the Working group No. 2 of UNP and Working group No. 3 of US CSP. This event is the result of discussions and joint work of working groups of two platforms – Local Economic Development Agency of Yavoriv District, Ukraine – Road to Climate Neutrality: Road for EaP Countries
M.Hutharts said that in the side events section, there will be an event attended by members of the Working group No. 2 of UNP (Public organization Institute for Economic Research and political research). During the event, research will be presented within the framework of the Forum’s re-grant project (Lot 3, 2021), where IED acted as a partner – analyzing the Role of CSOs in DCFTA Implementation in the Trio States – Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
After reviewing the package of documents of the Steering Committee of UNP, public organization Institute of innovative management was unanimously accepted as a member of the UNP.
The members of the Steering Committee of UNP discussed the procedure for the election of new delegates of the EaP CSF for the next period. We decided to invite the Secretariat of EaP CSF to conduct an information campaign on the election of Forum delegates.
The meeting participants planned to hold a public discussion on the results of the EaP Summit (December 2021), to which they would invite representatives of the Ministry of foreign affairs, the government office, the Verkhovna Rada Committee of Ukraine, experts from civil society, representatives of international organizations and members of the UNP.
