Civic Union “The Centre for Innovations Development”, member of UNP WG2 started the initiative implementation “Alignment of the Policy of Integration into the EU Digital Single Market and Harmonization of Digital Markets of the EaP” within the projectproject “Supporting the activities of the Ukrainian National Platform of the EaP CSF in 2021-2023” that is carried out by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER) with the financial support of the European Union.

Aim of the initiative is to evaluate progress of integration into the EU Digital Single Market and harmonization of the digital markets of the EaP, to intensify political dialogue with the participation of the public in order to update the priority challenges of digital development.
Major actions:
- Evaluation of the integration process into the EU Digital Single Market and harmonisation of digital markets of the CIS countries
- Consultation with government authorities
- Preparation of an analytical report on the evaluation of the integration policy into the EU Digital Single Market
- Holding open discussion of evaluation results with participants of RG2, RG4 UNP SHP, RG6 US PGS. Formation of recommendations on the results of discussion

An important result will be increased awareness of the public, expert environment and business through highlighting the progress of digital euro-integration reforms in Ukraine, bringing out the public assessments and proposals to authorities, relevant institutions of the Eastern Partnership and the EU.
