Civic Union “Local Economic Development Agency of Yavoriv region”, Member of the WG 2 UNP, started realization of the “Transformation of Civil Society in Ukraine in the Economic and European Integration Dimension” Initiative within the Project “Supporting the activities of the Ukrainian National Platform of the EaP CSF in 2021-2023”. Project is implemented by the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting within the EU financial support.

Timeline of the Project: 16 July-29 October
Implementation Objectives: exploring civil society development on the current stage, analyzing obstacles for the European standards institutionalization process implemented by civil society organizations and introducing specific steps on substantial civil society building similar to developed countries best practices through harmonizing methods and forms of the civic and political activities.
During the implementation, analytical report “Transformation of Civil Society in Ukraine in the Economic and European Integration Dimension” and proposals of state and regional policies development toward improvement of civil society in Ukraine will be produced.

It is very important to analyze problems of civil society in the context of the European integration, especially, political and legal culture establishment in Ukraine according to the European democratic society standards. Experience of the European states demonstrates that European integration process goes parallel to the democratisation process and are even identical to some extent. Thus, civil society process and our participation cannot be overstated.
